Creating a character in any Table Top RPG can be something that is confusing and frustrating. In By Gods and Kings, our goal is to make that process a lot more streamlined and simple, so that you can get into the game faster. Remember, stats will depict how your character will play. Characters with a higher magical bonus (MAG) will do greater damage with magical abilities while characters with a higher physical bonus (PHY) will do a greater damage with physical abilities and basic attacks. Characters with a high Defense (DEF) are great at shielding their allies and taunting enemies and speed (SPD) is useful for those who wish to support their allies and manipulate the field.
To Create a Character, first, start by selecting the Characters Weapon from the Following Table. Select One of the Following:
An Axe is a Two-Handed weapon and the class of weapon with the highest PHY bonus in the game. Axes are slower than other weapons, but pack a mighty punch.

The dagger is the fastest weapon in the game, allowing the user to typically go first in the initiative order. Next, you’re going to need to select a piece of armor. Armor covers your entire body, including your feet and arms. The only thing it doesn’t cover is your head, but you’ll get to select a unique piece for that next. Select a piece of armor from the following table.
