You sit at a table in the Hunter’s Guild, looking out at the hunters coming and going. All the hunters carry different expressions and emotions, ranging from happiness and elation from successfully taking out their marks to looks of frustration from failure. You smirk and sip from a large mug while relaxing in the chair as a very distinguished man walks into the hall, garnering the attention of all the hunters. In his hand is a bloody piece of parchment, which he hands to the huntmaster at his table. You look on as the huntmaster shakes his head and places the bloody parchment back on the wall. Curiosity overtakes you as you stand up from the table and guzzle down the rest of your beverage.
“Be careful with this one, novice. It never bodes well for the hunter who follows up on the failure of another hunter,” advises Nymphera as she leans back in her chair. “If I had to guess, that mark is Presseles, a fierce cat that none of us have dared to challenge.” She pauses for a brief moment to sip from her mug. “Cats are, quite unique, novice. They tend to possess tricks that are difficult to predict and if not prepared with everything in your arsenal, they can strike down even the most gifted of hunter.”
You nod and walk away from Nymphera. The huntmaster looks up from his stack of parchment to see you grab the bloody parchment off of the board. Presseles, a large tiger, roams the plains to the north of Sunshire. A payment of 600 gold will be provided to whoever can slay this foul creature who attacks the merchant caravans that enter and leave the town of Sunshire. “Be careful with that one, hunter. I’d hate to lose another member of our guild today.” With his words ringing through your head, you turn and walk away from huntmaster, leaving the guild hall to head out to the plains to hunt your mark.
You walk out into the fields to the north of Sunshire, looking for any clue or hint that you are on the trail of Presseles. Several tall, lone trees are positioned perfectly along the path, giving shade to some of the more docile creatures of the land. However, as you look around one of the trees, you notice several pieces of human flesh that appear to be somewhat fresh. You lean down, noticing the large teeth marks on it.
You hear a loud crack behind you, prompting you to turn quickly to see a large tiger preparing to pounce. "They tend to possess tricks that are difficult to predict" rings through your head as you easily moved into Presseles's trap. The large cat lowers her front end while raising her rear before leaping toward you to attack with her claws out.

Presseles is wounded, but not defeated. As you’re standing there, preparing to take the cat out and collect the reward, two more cats appear from the side, looking identical to Presseles. You stand in shock as the two cats move around you and the first cat gets back to her feet. Three identical cats prepare to pounce as you try your best to remain calm. Though one is wounded, the other two are ready to overwhelm you.
Commence Battle with Presseles x 3
The original tiger is killed, but the second two are angry and slightly wounded. As you’re looking on, three more identical cats approach to defend their pride. Five identical tigers stand before you prepared to leap toward you as you continue to grip your weapons firmly. Though slightly tired and overwhelmed, you are prepared to take down the five remaining tigers and claim the reward.
Commence Battle with Presseles x 5
The five tigers collapse at your feet with blood dripping from all of their wounds. Six cats lie before you, an entire pride of tigers. The locals, all believing it to be the work of one gigantic beast, were all fooled. The mighty Presseles, was indeed, six identical tigers. You pick up the corpses and drag them all to Sunshire to show the people your triumph and to collect your reward. As you drag the corpses, you hear a clapping from a few feet away. "Quite impressive, novice," remarks Nymphera as she walks toward you with a smirk. "To think, the work of six tigers was masked to look as the work of a single beast; these cats are quite clever." She smiles at you. "I may have been wrong about you. Perhaps you are worthy of residing within our ranks."
She smiles and turns back toward Sunshire. "Go and collect your reward. You've earned it." She walks away from you, down the path toward one of the villages to the north while you head back into Sunshire. With the might Presseles in tow, you smirk and prepare for your vast reward.
