The Or’tel Syndicate
Surviving for hundreds of years within the underworld of Dun-I, merchants, traders, and assassins reside to complete illicit and underhanded dealings. One of these organizations, the Or’tel Syndicate, has a strong foothold in Sunshire, and you are asked to look into some of their dealings and take a few things from them that the twins, Merevo and Jerikko, are after.
Chapter 1: The Warehouse on the Banks of the Sariak
While walking through the streets of Sunshire, you are approached by the two twin maji, Merevo and Jerikko. While the promise of a reward may be tempting, going to war with the largest criminal organization in all of Dun-I might be a bridge too far.
Nestled on the banks of the river that flows through the heart of Sunshire, a large warehouse with massive docks provides a destination and hub for several of the merchant vessels that come into town. These ships provide a great deal of the commerce in the city while traveling down the river to the coast, to the city of Werz, or to the North to the cities of either Shorrek or Fierrak. However, at the behest of the two mages, you are asked to head into the warehouse and create a disturbance, in the hopes of wrestling the power of a shard from their masters.
Chapter 2: The Syndicate Training Ground
Moseying through the streets of Sunshire after your conquests at the warehouse, you feel as though you are untouchable. However, your jubilation is interrupted by the more composed of the two brothers, needing your assistance once more.
Prerequisite: The Or’tel Warehouse
After vanquishing the boss and taking a shard from him, Jerikko, the more aggressive of the two brothers, has asked that you head into the Or’tel Gardens, a place where new recruits are trained. Under the impression that another shard is in the hands of the Or’tel Syndicate, Jerikko’s greed and rage drives him to invading the Gardens, with your assistance, to take hold of more power.
